How This Tool Works

This compliance checker searches international sanctions databases and the Dominican Republic's public officials directory to identify if an individual or company appears on any restricted or sanctioned lists, or holds a public office position. When you submit the form:

• The tool queries the US Trade.gov Consolidated Screening List API using the provided name and nationality
• It fetches and searches the UN Security Council sanctions XML database for matching individuals
• It retrieves and scans the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) XML list for potential matches
• It searches the Directorio de Funcionarios del Estado Dominicano published by the Ministerio de Administración Pública (MAP) for exact, partial, and approximate name matches, identifying Personas Expuestas Políticamente (PEP)

Results are displayed below, showing any matches found along with relevant details such as ID numbers, nationalities, program listings, and government positions. A green indicator means no matches were found, while a red indicator shows the number of potential matches requiring further review.
